Description

A Hammerhead FX is a game controller released by Interact Accessories Inc. in the late 1990's. Interact produced a full-featured driver for Windows 95/98, but only managed to release one beta driver for Windows 2000/XP before closing its doors. This driver was an improvement over the basic driver included with Windows, but still had some issues and bugs.

I've been a fan of the Hammerhead FX ever since the USB version was released. The new version sported a redesigned d-pad that made it the only gamepad on the market that could pass the "Street Fighter Test". Unhappy with Interact's unfinished Windows 2000 beta driver, I set out to develop my own. I call it HFX.

HFX is a driver for Windows 2000/XP/2003 written from the ground up that unleashes the full potential of the Hammerhead FX gamepad. It provides full featured vibration feedback, advanced programmability and support for multiple simultaneously connected gamepads. HFX was designed with stability, flexibility and ease of use in mind. With the programming features of the HFX driver, setting up your games becomes a matter of set it and forget it.

Requirements:
One or more Hammerhead FX USB Gamepads. Supported models include: SV-262A, SV-262E and SV-262F.
Each gamepad must be connected to a USB port. This driver does not support gamepads connected via game port.

Changes:
Fixed an error in the help file that could cause an error of "The Page Cannot Be Displayed" on some systems.
Applied a work around to the Setup Wizard to deal with the situation when the driver is successfully installed, but Windows thinks it wasn't.
Added custom sorting routine to guarantee that multiple gamepads will always receive the same enumeration IDs on future versions of Windows.
Fixed an error that would prevent deletion of the folder containing the HFX Setup Wizard until the reboot of the system.

SharewareABC suggest you to use the most recent driver version.

Before install this driver we recommend to set a restore point. This way you can reverse system if the driver is wrong.
